SSW Software Audit

Companies from across the globe have been taking advantage of SSW's Software Audit Services. The common message that is received from clients is that getting their software built in-house can sometimes lead to a failure to identify design flaws and architectural insufficiencies. They need an unbiased second opinion from a knowledgeable source that can make recommendations to improve the quality of their software. More on SSW software audits

The Cutting Edge

G'day Developers!
If you ask new .NET developers (from the Access or VB6 world) what the best thing is about .NET Windows Forms, most will answer "Form Inheritance", which allows them to keep a nice consistent look for all forms. If you ask them a couple of months later, they will probably tell you the worst thing about .NET Windows Forms is "Form Inheritance". This is because they have had too many problems with the bugs in the form designer regarding this feature. Many abandon them altogether and jump on the user control band wagon. Please don't - I have a solution to this.... More on Rules to Better Windows Forms
Cheers until next time, Adam
